Snag front row seats and watch in awe as award-winning chefs from across Canada and beyond go head-to-head in an epic battle for the title of Garland Chef Champion. It’s a race against the clock as 12 highly-talented chefs are challenged to produce epic PEI shellfish dishes from a black box of ingredients. It all goes down in front of a live audience and panel of discerning judges headed up by Chef Lynn Crawford.
There’s no room for error in this high stakes competition, where the judges will chop the competition in half after the first heat based on presentation, taste and menu. The pressure gets even more intense during the semi-finals as the remaining 6 chefs put it all on the line to win one of two spots in the coveted finale.
$10K Up for Grabs
And then there were two. With a grand prize of $10,000 at stake, you don’t want to miss the final round of this exhilarating competition. In front of a live audience and under the intense pressure of the clock, the top two chefs will be pulling out all the stops to prove they’ve got the culinary chops to be crowned winner of the 2018 Garland Canada International Chef Champion. Cheer on your favourite as the final seconds of the competition unfold and mighty impressive PEI shellfish dishes are plated before your eyes – one of them is going to be worth a cool $10K!
