I had the opportunity to compete in the skills PEI competition for cooking in March, which I then represented the Island on team PEI for the Skills Canada competition for secondary cooking in Winnipeg in May. I’m wildly competitive, and always looking to improve my skills, and the Shellfish Festival is exactly the next step I’m looking for.
