HOW DID I GET STARTED IN THE ROLE:
My bartending background began working at various pubs, sports bars, and nightclubs. It all started as a job to help support me through college and while playing competitive baseball abroad. Learning the craft eventually brought the opportunity to join an incredible team at the Wickaninnish Inn (Tofino, B.C). My time there truly felt more like an education and an experience rather than an occupation. Bringing together fresh ingredients from our rustic west coast to entertain guests from around the world really brought me to love the hospitality industry.
BAR/RESTAURANT:
I am currently at Kingfishers Waterfront Bar & Grill (Maple Ridge, BC) as the General Manager. It is there that over the last ten years I have enjoyed bringing the same level of hospitality and fresh local offerings into our welcoming setting on the Fraser River.
WHY WERE YOU INSPIRED TO COMPETE:
Creating cocktails is a passion that exercises creativity and imagination. There is always something new to learn and share with others and nearly everyone has their own twist on this Canadian classic.
WHY ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO THE FINALS:
The National Mott’s Clamato ‘Best Caesar In Town’ Competition seems like the perfect place to put it all to the test!
NAME OF CAESAR: Cabana Caesar
